The SFU1604 Ball Screw utilizes rolling contact mechanics to provide precise, controlled linear motion.

1.Rotary-to-Linear Conversion: The screw shaft features a precision-ground helical raceway. The flanged ball nut contains a matching internal groove filled with precision steel balls. As the shaft rotates, these balls roll between the nut and the shaft, efficiently converting rotary torque into linear force with minimal friction.

2.Recirculating System ("U"): To allow for continuous travel, the nut utilizes an internal return system. As the balls reach the end of the load-bearing zone, deflectors guide them back to the start of the circuit. This ensures smooth, unlimited motion and consistent load distribution.
