DFU Double Nut Ball Screw

The DFU Series Ball Screw is a double-nut ball screw configuration designed for applications requiring higher axial rigidity, controlled preload and reduced backlash compared with standard single-nut ball screw arrangements.

A DFU assembly uses two ball nuts on the same screw shaft. The nuts are preloaded against each other so that axial clearance can be reduced and the mechanical stiffness of the screw-and-nut assembly can be increased.

This makes the DFU series suitable for demanding applications such as CNC machine tools, precision grinding equipment, high-load positioning systems and industrial automation.
