The SFY Series Ball Screw is a high-performance linear actuator specifically engineered for applications demanding high speed, high precision, and low-noise operation. It features a large-lead design combined with an innovative end-cap ball recirculation system. This pairing delivers exceptional smoothness and a high Dm-N value, making it an ideal choice for advanced CNC machinery, factory automation, and medical industry equipment.

The key to the SFY Series' performance is its end-cap circulation design. Steel balls travel through the grooves between the screw and the flanged nut and are then smoothly guided by an end-cap circulator back to the starting point. This internal return mechanism eliminates the need for external tubes, which allows for:

Working Principle

The SFY Series Ball Screw operates on the principle of translating rotational motion into precise linear motion with minimal friction. The core of the assembly is a precision-threaded screw shaft and a flanged nut containing recirculating ball bearings. These balls roll smoothly within the helical grooves (raceways) of both the shaft and the nut.

This continuous and unobstructed flow of rolling elements is essential for achieving the high speeds and low noise levels that characterize the SFY Series, making it ideal for demanding automation and CNC applications.
