Part of the high-lead series, the SFY4040 features a "square" 1:1 configuration, pairing a massive 40mm nominal diameter with an aggressive 40mm lead. This unique geometry allows the nut to travel 40mm per 360-degree rotation, enabling extreme travel speeds (up to 80m/min) at significantly lower motor RPMs. This drastically minimizes heat generation and centrifugal vibration ("shaft whip") over long strokes.

To combat demanding industrial conditions, the SFY4040 utilizes a specialized "Y-Type" nut equipped with reinforced wipers to aggressively block abrasive dust and debris. Operating Principles
The SFY4040 operates on the principle of recirculating ball bearings to achieve precise, high-speed linear motion with minimal friction.

• Rotary-to-Linear Conversion: As the screw shaft is driven by a servo or stepper motor, precision-grade steel balls roll within the helical raceways formed between the shaft and the nut, efficiently converting torque into axial thrust.
• High-Velocity Kinematics: The aggressive 40mm lead establishes a direct, high-ratio relationship between motor speed and linear velocity (Velocity = RPM × 40mm). This allows for exceptionally rapid traversing without requiring excessive rotational speeds.
• End-Cap Recirculation System: To accommodate the steep pitch and high ball speeds, the SFY series employs a specialized end-cap return mechanism. Upon completing the load-carrying circuit, the balls are seamlessly collected by the end cap and routed through an internal return path back to the starting point. This creates a continuous, low-friction rolling loop capable of sustaining high-speed operation.
