Manufacturing Processes

The HGW manufacturing process adheres to the highest standards of precision grinding and heat treatment, with added attention to the large block's geometry:

Material and Hardening: High-grade bearing steel is used. Both the rail and the block are subjected to intensive heat treatment (hardening) to achieve a high surface hardness (HRC 58-62), which is vital for the system's longevity and load-bearing performance.

Precision Grinding: The CNC grinding of the Gothic arch raceways is performed to achieve a mirror finish and micrometer-level geometric accuracy. The large, wide top flange of the block is also precision-ground to ensure exceptional flatness and parallelism for the load mounting surface.

Preloading and Assembly: A precise preload is applied to the rolling elements during assembly. This preloading is essential for eliminating internal clearance (backlash), which is the foundation for the high rigidity and excellent repeatability that the HGW series delivers.

Quality Control: The final mounted units undergo stringent inspection to verify running parallelism, moment stiffness, and dimensional accuracy, confirming their suitability for heavy-duty, precision applications.
