Operating Principles

The EGW Series operates on the fundamental principle of high-rigidity rolling contact optimized for wide loads:

Moment Load Resistance: The wide base of the EGW block creates a significantly greater distance between the force application point and the guide rail. This wider base provides a much greater leverage arm to resist all moment loads, especially the twisting force (torque) around the axis of travel.

Rolling Recirculation: Like other profiled guides, the balls roll within the raceways. As they finish bearing the load, they are collected by the return path and guided back to the front of the circuit, providing continuous, smooth, and highly efficient linear travel.

Low Center of Gravity Stabilization: The low-profile design ensures that the load's center of gravity is closer to the machine bed, further enhancing the system's stability and rigidity, which is paramount when handling large, wide payloads.
