Product Description

The HGW20HC is a high-rigidity, flanged-type linear guide block engineered for precision manufacturing, heavy-duty CNC machining, and automated gantry systems. Part of the performance-proven HG Series, this carriage utilizes a four-row ball design with a 45-degree contact angle, delivering equal load-carrying capacity in radial, reverse-radial, and lateral orientations.


The "HC" (Super Heavy Load) designation denotes an elongated block body measuring 92.2 mm in length. This extra length accommodates a higher volume of precision ball bearings within the active recirculating tracks, boosting the dynamic load capacity to 21.18 kN and the static load capacity to 35.90 kN. Designed for versatile top-down or bottom-up mounting, the HGW20HC is fully compatible with standard HGR20 rails.

Operating Principles: Recirculating Ball System
The HGW20HC manages structural loads and motion through its internal recirculating ball tracks:
1.45-Degree Load Balancing: Applied forces are transferred through four rows of precision-hardened steel balls that roll within the circular-arc raceways of the rail. This 45-degree contact angle ensures balanced, omni-directional load distribution .
2.Continuous Circulation Loop: As the carriage travels, the balls roll through the active load-bearing zone before being redirected by impact-resistant synthetic resin end caps into internal return channels, completing the recirculating cycle smoothly.
3.Self-Alignment Mechanism: In the presence of minor parallelism or height deviations on the mounting bed, the contact points of the balls automatically shift slightly along the circular-arc grooves. This inherent self-aligning capability compensates for surface variations without significantly increasing sliding resistance .
