Product Description

The HGW30HC is a high-rigidity, flanged linear motion carriage from the HG Heavy Load Series. Engineered for applications requiring exceptional structural stability and load capacity, this block is specifically designed for seamless integration with standard 30mm width linear profile rails (HGR30 series).
 

Advanced Engineering & Design

  • Four-Row Ball Recirculation: The internal geometry features four rows of precision-hardened steel balls arranged at a symmetrical 45-degree contact angle. This provides a balanced load-bearing capacity in radial, reverse-radial, and lateral directions, ensuring high-fidelity performance regardless of mounting orientation.
  • Elongated "HC" Carriage: The "HC" (Super Heavy Load) designation denotes the extra-long variant, with a total block length of 120.4 mm (compared to the standard 97.4 mm of the CC model). This added length houses an increased quantity of recirculating steel balls, distributing structural loads over a larger surface area to reduce unit stress.
  • Bi-Directional Flange Mounting: The flanged (W-type) profile features a wider footprint that enhances lateral stability and moment-load resistance. The block's mounting interface is engineered to allow mounting bolts to be installed from either the top down or the bottom up, offering versatile mechanical integration.

While both carriages run on standard HGR30 rails and share the same mounting cross-section (Height: 42mm, Width: 90mm), their physical lengths are optimized for different structural load profiles.

 

  • Specify the HGW30CC (Standard Heavy) if:

Your machine utilizes a multi-block carriage design (typically four blocks total, with two blocks supporting each rail). Because payloads are shared across multiple contact points, the standard 97.4 mm block length is fully sufficient. This choice minimizes the overall carriage mass and optimizes component budgets without sacrificing precision.

 

  • Specify the HGW30HC (Extra Heavy Load) if:

You are engineering an axis with a high overhang or cantilevered load (such as a heavy vertical spindle head supported by a single Z-axis rail). Because the elongated HC block is longer (120.4 mm), it houses more active ball bearings. This expanded contact footprint boosts dynamic capacity to 47.27 kN and static capacity to 69.16 kN, ensuring outstanding structural stiffness and minimized vibration under severe moment loads.
