1.Lubrication management is central
Lubrication is the key to prolong the service life of cam driven roller bearings. Newly used bearings must be replaced with grease for the first time after 100 hours of operation and then every 500 hours. If grease is used for lubrication, it should be replaced thoroughly after 1500 hours. The amount of oil added should be limited to two-thirds of the bearing chamber volume, as too much or too little can cause heat. Containers containing lubricants must be kept clean and sealed to prevent dust and iron filings from entering.

2.Periodically check operation status.
In daily life, we should pay close attention to the noise, vibration and temperature rise during bearing operation. When the bearings are running normally, the sound is smooth and low. If there is a metal friction sound or irregular noise, it is often a sign of insufficient lubrication or foreign invasion. At the same time, pay attention to the sealing area to observe if there is any lubricant leakage. If you notice any abnormalities, stop working immediately to check the cause.
3.Keep clean and prevent pollution
Bearings is most afraid of dust and impurities, because even small particles can accelerate the wear and tear of the raceway. The environment around bearings should be cleaned daily to avoid debris accumulation. If disassembly is required, it is recommended to soak and brush with diesel or kerosene. Rinse to remove large amounts of grease and replace with a fine wash. The bearings are slowly rotated in oil and immediately coated with rust oil after cleaning to prevent rusting.
4.Overload and impact are strictly prohibited;
Loads and severe shocks in excess of the rated values should be avoided during use. Intense manoeuvres, such as sudden acceleration and braking, can put extra force on the camshaft and accelerate wear and tear. Transmission stability and operation specification are the simplest and most effective ways to protect bearings.
5. Installation and dismantling shall be carried out in accordance with regulations
Special tools such as bearing drawing machine and induction heater must be used when installing and removing, and hammering bearing ring is strictly forbidden. During heating installation, the temperature must be controlled below 120 degrees Celsius. When removing, use a puller to force evenly so as not to damage the mating surface and sealing structure.
