The SI-T/K series is engineered for applications where reliability is key and regular maintenance is difficult, undesirable, or impossible.
Thread Type: Female (Internal) Thread. The integral shank features an internal thread for connecting to male-threaded rods.
Sliding Surface: Self-Lubricating (Steel-on-PTFE). The "TK" designation specifically refers to this construction. The inner steel spherical ball pivots within a liner made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fabric or composite. This provides an inherently low-friction, maintenance-free sliding surface.
Maintenance: Maintenance-Free. The self-lubricating PTFE liner provides a very low-friction surface that does not require any additional grease or oil for its entire lifespan, ensuring long-term, consistent performance.
Typical Applications: Ideal for applications that are hard to access for maintenance, require clean operation (e.g., to prevent grease contamination like in food processing), or for systems where consistent, smooth performance without upkeep is a priority (e.g., robotics, precision linkages, printing, and packaging machinery).
