The RGW30HC is an ultra-high-rigidity, flanged-type linear guide block designed for heavy-duty CNC machining, large-format gantries, and industrial presses. As part of the RG Series, it utilizes precision cylindrical rollers instead of ball bearings. This "line contact" interface drastically reduces elastic deformation under load, providing exceptional structural stiffness. The RGW30HC features a wide-base flange designed for flexible top-down or bottom-up mounting and is fully compatible with RGR30 rails.

 

Elongated "HC" Geometry for Higher Load Ratings
The primary distinction between the standard heavy-load (CC) block and the extra-heavy-load (HC) block lies in the physical length of the carriage:
Extended Carriage footprint: The RGW30HC features an elongated body measuring 131.8 mm, compared to 109.8 mm for the standard CC block.
The Technical Benefit: The longer body accommodates more recirculating rollers within the active load-bearing tracks. This configuration raises the dynamic load rating to 48.1 kN and the static load rating to a substantial 105.0 kN-a major performance increase over standard-length 30mm blocks.

Selection Guide: RGW30CC vs. RGW30HC
While both blocks are designed for 30mm roller guideways (RGR30 series) and share the exact same mounting cross-section, they are optimized for different structural loading conditions.


Specify the RGW30CC (Heavy Load) if:
Your machine design utilizes a multi-block carriage configuration (e.g., two or more blocks supporting each side of a large gantry plate). Because the payload is distributed across multiple contact points, the standard 109.8 mm block length is fully sufficient. This selection helps minimize total moving mass and optimizes overall component costs.


Specify the RGW30HC (Extra Heavy Load) if:
You are designing a single-block carriage or managing a high-cantilever overhang. Because the HC body is elongated to 131.8 mm, it provides significantly higher resistance to Pitch and Yaw moment loads (1,712 Nm compared to 1,060 Nm on the CC block). If a tool head is offset or cantilevered from the axis, the additional length of the HC block is essential to prevent binding or torsional deflection on the rail.
