The EGH20SA is a 20mm low-profile linear guide carriage engineered for space-constrained automation systems. As part of the EG Series, it utilizes a four-row ball configuration with a 45-degree contact angle to provide equal load-bearing capacity across radial, reverse-radial, and lateral orientations.

Compact "SA" Geometry & Mounting
The shortened "SA" block length measuring 50.0 mm minimizes carriage mass and maximizes available travel stroke along the rail. Designed with a non-flanged square profile, the EGH20SA features a two-bolt top-mounting pattern for secure, space-saving installation. It incorporates a self-aligning circular-arc design to absorb minor mounting bed inaccuracies and is fully compatible with standard EGR20 rails.

• The Design: The block incorporates a four-row ball configuration where the steel balls engage the raceways at an optimized 45-degree contact angle.

2. Self-Aligning Circular-Arc Groove Design
In high-speed, light-to-medium automated machinery, mounting beds (such as aluminum extrusions or un-ground steel plates) may exhibit minor surface variations.

• The Self-Aligning Principle: The EGH20SA features a circular-arc groove design with a Face-to-Face (DF) contact structure. In the presence of minor mounting misalignment, the balls undergo microscopic elastic deformation, allowing the contact points to adjust slightly and absorb the geometric error.
• The Benefit: Smooth, low-friction motion is maintained without carriage binding, supporting consistent accuracy and reducing bed-preparation costs.
