Choosing the Right Sealing System for Your Machine
- Choose the "DD" Option for Fine Dust & Fibers:
When cutting wood, MDF, graphite, or packaging materials, fine airborne dust can slip past standard single seals. The DD configuration adds a secondary internal wiper to double your protection, keeping the bearing raceways clean and extending lubricant life.
- Choose the "ZZ" Option for Metal Chips & Weld Sparks:
Razor-sharp, hot metal shavings can melt or slice through end seals. The ZZ configuration adds an outer metal scraper that acts as a physical shield, deflecting hot chips before they can damage the primary seal underneath.
- Choose the "KK" Option for Severe Coolant & Abrasive Slurry:
For the most demanding environments, the KK configuration provides multi-tier armor: outer metal scrapers deflect heavy chips and hot sparks, while inner double end seals block fine grit, abrasive dust, and high-pressure coolant from reaching internal bearings.
