Selecting Your DSG Housing: Standard vs. High-Speed Series
When specifying a DSG housing, selecting the correct series is critical to ensure compatibility with your ball screw nut geometry. Our product line is divided into two distinct categories based on nut design:
1. The Standard Series (DSG...H)
Models: DSG12H, DSG16H, DSG20H, DSG25H, DSG32H, DSG40H, DSG50H.
Compatibility: Designed exclusively for standard-pitch SFU and DFU series ball screws (e.g., SFU1605, SFU2010, DFU2505).
Design Profile: Engineered to fit the dimensions and mounting requirements of DIN 69051 B standard nut bodies.
2. The High-Speed Series (DSGxxxx)
Models: DSG1616, DSG2020, DSG2525, DSG3232.
Compatibility: Engineered specifically for High-Lead (High-Speed) SFE and SFY series ball screws (e.g., SFE1616, SFY2020).
Design Profile: High-speed nuts utilize an internal end-cap recirculation system, resulting in a significantly thicker nut body compared to standard screws. These specific DSG models feature an oversized internal bore to accommodate these larger nut diameters.
Note: High-speed/high-lead nuts are physically incompatible with standard "H-Series" blocks.
