In the linear guide rail, the slider part is reserved with a grease nozzle, which is convenient for us to add grease daily, inject through the pinhole, and then slide back and forth to ensure the lubrication of the steel balls inside; and after removing the upper cover of the ball screw, use a toothbrush for daily care, dip some grease and apply it evenly between the lead screws, apply it back and forth, and rotate it back and forth appropriately to ensure that the steel balls inside are fully absorbed. Daily inspection
1. Keep the motor clean, prevent oil, water and other dirt from entering the motor, and whether the shield is damaged;
2. Whether the ball screw, linear guide, and bearing have abnormal vibration or noise;
3. Whether the motor and coupling have abnormal vibration or noise;
4. Whether there are unknown dust, oil stains, scratches, etc. on all visible parts.
Linear guides and ball screws must be well lubricated. Without regular lubrication, the friction between the steel ball and the ball groove will increase when the linear module is running, and the life of the guide and screw may be shortened.
Maintenance method
1. Once a month, add lubricant to the linear guide, clean the old oil, wipe the guide surface and the ball groove directly with a dust-free cloth, and apply it directly to the guide surface.
2. Once a month, add lubricant to the ball screw, clean the old oil, wipe the screw nut and the ball groove directly with a dust-free cloth, and apply it directly to the screw surface. During the monthly maintenance, check whether there is any foreign matter or dust. If there is, wipe it with a dry dust-free cloth; if the linear module is not maintained, even if high-performance parts are used, it is difficult to achieve the expected performance effect, and it is easy to be damaged.
