FAQ & Technical Support
1.Q: What material options are available for your linear shafts?
A: We offer two materials for customer selection: bearing steel (Gcr15) and High Carbon Steel (45#).
2.Q: Can you make shafts to my specific length and diameter?
A: Yes, we can customize various linear shafts with diameters ranging from 3mm to 150mm and maximum lengths up to 6000mm.
3.Q: Do you provide custom end-machining services?
A: Absolutely. If you have special machining requirements-such as threading, coaxial drilling and tapping, radial drilling and tapping, or reduced shaft diameters-we can machine them for you. These processes are executed with high precision to ensure the quality of the final product.
4.Q: What are the recommended installation methods?
A: There are three common mounting styles:
SK Support (Vertical): Clamps the shaft parallel to the mounting base. Ideal for general automation.
SHF Support (Horizontal): Flange-style mount used for attaching shafts to side walls or vertical plates.
Press Fit: For high-rigidity applications, shafts can be pressed directly into precision-bored holes in the machine frame.
5.Q: My bearing feels rough or "gritty" on the shaft. What causes this?
A: This is typically caused by one of two issues:
Misalignment: If parallel shafts are not perfectly aligned, the bearing will bind. Loosen the support bolts, manually slide the carriage back and forth to allow self-alignment, and then re-tighten.
Surface Damage: Inspect the shaft for scratches or dents. Even a single burr on the hard chrome surface can damage the recirculating balls inside the bearing.
6.Q: Do you offer door-to-door delivery service?
A: Yes, we provide door-to-door service via air freight and express carriers (DHL, FEDEX, TNT, EMS, SF Express), typically delivering to your city within 5-7 days.
