Selecting the appropriate nut configuration is critical for balancing system cost, speed, and positioning accuracy.

Select the SFU Series (Single Nut) if:
General Automation Applications: Ideal for 3D printers, pick-and-place robotics, laser engravers, plasma cutters, and high-speed packaging lines.
High-Velocity Requirements: The reduced internal friction of the single-nut design minimizes heat generation during rapid, continuous traversing, extending the life of the lubricant and the screw.
Torque-Constrained Systems: For applications utilizing smaller stepper motors, the low drag torque of an SFU nut prevents motor stalling and allows for higher acceleration profiles.

Select the DFU Series (Double Nut) if:
Precision Metal Cutting: Mandatory for CNC milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders. The preloaded, zero-backlash design is essential for successful "climb milling" and the prevention of tool chatter when machining hard materials.
High-Fidelity Circular Interpolation: If your application requires precise circular paths, the DFU eliminates the "flat spots" or ovality typically caused by backlash at axis reversal points.
High-Rigidity Vertical Loads: The dual-nut architecture provides superior axial stiffness, ensuring that heavy Z-axis headstocks maintain their position without "lost motion" or deflection under load.
