
The RG Series offers two primary block configurations tailored to meet distinct spatial and mechanical requirements. Both styles utilize high-rigidity cylindrical rollers but differ in their physical profiles and mounting interfaces :
1. RGH Series: High-Assembly Square Block
The RGH is the compact, non-flanged "Square Type" block in the roller-guideway family. It features a narrow, box-like profile without lateral wings.
- Height Profile: Features a higher assembly height (H) compared to the flanged variant.
- Mounting Configuration: Designed with tapped mounting holes on its top surface, allowing bolts to pass down through the carriage plate and thread directly into the block.
- Key Advantage (Lateral Space Efficiency): By eliminating side flanges, the RGH provides a significantly narrower profile than the RGW block.
- Best For: Applications with tight lateral (horizontal width) restrictions, such as nesting parallel rails closely together inside a narrow vertical CNC milling column.
2. RGW Series: Low-Profile Flanged Block
The RGW is the "Flange Type" block, featuring wide, integrated mounting flanges extending horizontally from the sides.
- Height Profile: Features a lower overall assembly height compared to the square RGH block.
- Mounting Configuration: The wide flanges contain threaded through-holes, facilitating bi-directional mounting. Bolts can be installed top-down (passing through the carriage plate into the flange) or bottom-up (inserting bolts through the flange into a threaded carriage plate) .
- Key Advantage (Broad Footprint & Low Center of Gravity): The flanged profile provides a wider structural base and sits lower to the rail. This wide stance serves as a robust torque arm, offering excellent resistance to rolling moment (MR) loads .
- Best For: Applications subjected to high moment loads or where spatial constraints require mounting fasteners from underneath the carriage plate.
